| Bio: | as a child i moved around a lot, got teased a good bit at different times, didn't apply myself in high school, chose the college i attended for poor reasons, ended up in a career i was unsatisfid with, and decided to strike out on my own. that's roughly where the journal starts. since then i had a few years of continuing down an aimless career path with meager earnings and began aimlessly seeking greener pastures. i met the woman who would become my wife at the consulting job which was to become my last. i became engaged and then wed, gaining a step-son i love deeply. during this time professionally i got a more corporate job, excelled, then out grew the company, discovering along the way what i needed from my career. i'm an optomist, am intelligent, falsely modest, smile a lot, love making people laugh and laughing with people, enjoy jazz and wish i spent more time listening to it, deeply value the friendships i have but fail to show it over the long term. i used to have a totally open journal for philisophical reasons, but find that respecting the privacy of others requires friends only posts. i add most people in reciprocity on a sporatic basis, but regardless you're free to read most posts. | |||||
